Botox & Neuromodulator Treatments in Edmonton

Great Botox shouldn't be obvious. At The Klinik, Heyam Tarrabain, RN uses 30+ years of clinical expertise to deliver results that are subtle, precise, and entirely your own. Every treatment starts with a real conversation, because no two faces and no two treatment plans are the same.

What Are Neuromodulators?

Botox and Xeomin are two of the most studied, most trusted injectable treatments available, and both are Health Canada-approved. They work by relaxing the specific muscles that cause expression lines to form, softening the skin above without affecting your natural movement or expression.

The key word is subtlety. In the right hands, neuromodulators don't make you look different. They make you look like yourself, only better rested.

Heyam Tarrabain, RN has over 30 years of clinical nursing experience and treats every face as the individual it is. Your consultation is a real conversation, and your treatment plan is built around your anatomy, your goals, and nothing else.

Everything You Need to Know About Neuromodulators

How Do Neuromodulators Work?

Botox and Xeomin work by blocking the nerve signals that tell specific facial muscles to contract. When those muscles relax, the skin above them smooths out. It's that straightforward. The effect is temporary, typically lasting 3 to 4 months, after which the muscle gradually returns to normal. Nothing permanent, nothing irreversible.

Who Is a Good Candidate for
Botox in Edmonton?

If you're an adult who's noticing expression lines and wants to address them without surgery, neuromodulators are worth considering. The best way to know if you're a candidate is to book a consultation. Heyam assesses every client individually, takes a full medical history, and will tell you honestly whether treatment is appropriate. Neuromodulators are not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What Products Does The Klinik Use?

The Klinik offers both Botox and Xeomin, both Health Canada-approved neuromodulators with strong, well-documented safety records. They work the same way but have slightly different properties, and one may suit your anatomy or treatment area better than the other. Heyam will walk you through the options at your consultation and recommend what makes the most sense for you.

Are Neuromodulators Safe?

Yes. Botox and Xeomin have well-established safety records and are Health Canada-approved for both cosmetic and therapeutic use. When administered by a qualified medical professional, the risk of complications is very low. Heyam's 30+ years of clinical nursing experience means your safety is always the first priority.

What We Do

01

CONSULTATION

Before anything else, Heyam sits with you, reviews your medical history, assesses your anatomy, and listens to what you actually want. All injectable treatments require a consultation prior to proceeding. That's an Alberta regulatory requirement and, frankly, just good medicine.

02

TREATMENT

Most appointments take 20 to 30 minutes. A very fine needle delivers small, precise amounts of product into the targeted muscles. Most clients are surprised by how quick and comfortable it is.

03

RESULTS ONSET

You'll start to notice softening within 3 to 5 days. Full results show at around 2 weeks, which is also when Heyam recommends a follow-up for first-time clients.

04

DURATION

Most clients see results last 3 to 4 months. With regular treatments over time, many find results start to extend. Individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

05

AFTERCARE

Simple. Heyam walks you through everything before you leave. For the first 4 hours, avoid lying down, strenuous exercise, and heat exposure. Most clients head straight back to their day.
